Please note that the Assessment schedule may change and we reserve the right to cancel courses if not enough candidates register.

You are not required to make use of any tools during the Assessment. Testing instruments will be supplied by the Assessment Centre. You may however, bring your own testing instruments, should you wish to do so. You will be required to bring the latest edition of the SANS regulation book SANS 10142-1 (2021, edition 3).

Candidates must wear long pants and closed shoes .

Candidates provide own meals. There is a restaurant/take-away for your convenience near the Assessment Centre. Only coffee and tea will be provided

After being found competent at the final Assessment, your completed Portfolio of Evidence will be moderated by the EWSETA. Only then will you receive a statement of results from the EWSETA. You can then apply at the Department of Labor for the registered persons license.

If you are declared not yet competent on any of the Unit Standards, You will need to do the a formal re-assessment.

All course correspondence and Assessment will be done in English.

Certified Documents to be brought to the Assessment Single phase Tester. 2 Certified copies of ID document. 1 Certified copy of highest qualification (NQF 3 or N2) 1 Certified copy of Trade Test Certificate and 1 Copy of CV.
